This workshop gathers leaders in the field, with a focus on California-based researchers, to address topics including quantum computing and networking, quantum sensing, quantum emulation, quantum materials, quantum interfaces and decoherence, quantum dynamics, quantum-relevant educational strategies, and academic-industrial partnerships. The emphasis is on identifying unifying themes of research and exploring mechanisms and opportunities for broader collaboration.

Transportation instructions: Shuttle service is available between the Best Western South Coast Inn and the campus.
Shuttles will depart Best Western South Coast Inn on Friday and Saturday at approximately 8:00, 8:20 and 8:40 a.m. and return following dinner at approximately 8:00 p.m.
There is only one shuttle available from the hotel on Sunday, departing at 8:30 a.m. and returning at 1:00 p.m. You may leave your vehicles parked at the hotel.
Driving Directions North: US 101 North to Highway 217. From the 217, bear right at the circle, and turn left at the second light.
Driving Directions South: US 101 South to Patterson Ave offramp, turn left to cross the bridge over the 101, and again turn left to get on Highway 217 (the entrance ramp splits, 217 is to the left, 101 N is to the right.)
Parking: Please park in Lot 18 (Mesa parking structure) on Friday, and park in Lot 10 on Saturday and Sunday. Permits required at all times. Parking permits should be purchased at the parking kiosk machines and permits must be displayed on the dashboard of your vehicle.
